On common ground, May We Connect
Overview
We are tired of divisive divisions. There must be a way to come together to find common ground. Here are some facts we all have in common. If nothing else, fall back on these:
Blood
We bleed a shade of red. There are different types, different vein colors, different hues when we blush. In the end, it looks the same when it's outside our bodies.We're tired of it shedding due to acts of violence.
Humanity
We are of one race: the Human Race. As homo sapiens, we belong to one species. Our phenotypes vary thanks to the enviornments our ancestors lived in for thousands of years. We chose to evolve as one race.
Basics
We all have the same basic needs: oxygen, water, nutrients, security, socialization, and shelter. No one should be denied these. How people obtain them, varies. We want access to basic needs for all.
Issues
There are a plethora of reasons causing division. Here are three major ones we need to come together on:
Politics
Partician politics have become the bane of our country. The division being stoked by certain media outlets is poisoning our society. We seek to find common ground to truly search for solutions while respecting each other as individuals.
Hate
Hate is a root leading to evil. The energy that goes into hating others based on looks, customs, or ones own perception could be better spent elsewhere. We seek to overcome hate by striving towards understanding.
Othering
The "other" is often seen as a threatening force against us. Bias is a psychological defense instilled in us to protect ourselves. It is a primal instinct we must consciously address and surpass in order to advance. We shall overcome.
Solutions
These are out there. How do we find them? Recommit to what was learned in Level 1. Otherwise, there is no limit to how many there are. Here are a few ideas:
Connect
Be it with friends, relatives, neighbors, or strangers, make a connection by talking with them about these ideas. Share your thoughts on this movement, whether it be in alignment or opposition to one part of it or another. Find common ground.
Share
Sharing thoughts and ideas with others can be difficult. This is especially true with "cancel culture" and people who respond based on their initial emotions. A solution is to share this site. Use the hashtag. Make this message your own.
Listen
In order to be heard, we need to listen. Hear what others are saying about this message. Share concerns from it. Take small steps to spread this truth that in order to move forward as humanity, we need all sides unified. Find common ground.

Why May We Connect?
Because my mama told me so, because her mother told her so, because her ma told her so...Or as we know "Because I Said So."Instantly, that creates resistance. We have free will and want to exercise it. Therefore we go against what is. It's human nature. It's natures natures. It's how we got here. The diversity of cells evolved to the beings we are today all because those genes just kept on keeping on.We forget that who we came from often had our best interests at heart. They tried. There was an effort. Throughout all who existed before us, we are here today. Throughout all of that, it seems the world is moving further away from our original source of divine energy.Unconditional Love &
Relentless KindnessSimply put, We May Connect because I am connected to those who came before me. To my mother and to my grandmother. To my brothers and to my auntie. To my family and all who have existed, like me, one step at a time.We May Connect because I am ready to.
